Q: Does Dr. Yost accept insurance?
A: Dr Yost is a contracted provider in Pain Management for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona, Aetna, Health Net, Humana, First Health/CCN, Medicare. He is also a provider under mental health for CIGNA and UnitedHealth Care. If coverage is current and valid, all non-HMO Medicare, PPO and POS insurance plans will be billed. Any applicable co-pay or deductible is required at the time of the visit. You are responsible for any balance left over from your insurance and/or Medicare and secondary. Any denials of coverage will revert to patient responsibility.

Q: How much does a visit cost?
A: For patients with an HMO or who are self-pay the initial visit is $220 for 1 hour. Follow-up visits range between $120 and $170 for 30 to 40 minutes. All applicable co-pays and deductibles will be collected at the time of the visit

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Check, Visa, MasterCard and cash at the time of service.

Q: How soon can I get an appointment with Dr. Yost?
A: An initial appointment can usually be scheduled within two weeks.

Q: What happens at the initial appointment?
A: Dr. Yost will take a full history of your present physical complaints, nutrition patterns as well as past medical history, physical examination and family history. He will then discuss all of your responses in the health questionnaires that you will bring to your first appointment. Dr. Yost will then determine what diagnostic tests are most appropriate for your medical problems, and he will explain the purpose and the benefit of these tests to you. Finally, he will suggest initial dietary changes and any medications or therapeutic nutrients relevant to your medical condition. The next appointment is usually scheduled within 3 to 4 weeks.
